Tomatoes

between us tomatoes
seed beds and spring
in every season
there’s something to do
(you say)
when the flowers bloom
you’re like a bee
your head spins
and then the tomatoes
all the way to winter
(I have a garden and I know
how much life is there)
so I don’t phone anymore
because your
– you know, tomatoes…
– I understand the tomatoes
